What Kinds Of Lenses Are There?
The most common types of lenses are; standard single vision, bifocals, progressive bifocals, and trifocals.

The FT28 Standard bifocal. This is the most common lined bifocal in use today. Bifocals allow the main lens to be used for normal, distance vision and the smaller lower lens to be used for reading.
The FT7x28 Standard trifocal. This is the most common lined trifocal in use today. A trifocal is similar to a bifocal lens but includes a third, middle distance correction.
The progressive lens (invisible). A progressive lens is a bifocal and trifocal with no lines. Instead the lens thickness and focal length change gradually in the bottom quarter to give the same effects.
